Welcome to Bufland Agri – Premier Commercial Farming in South Africa
Familie Vriendelike Plaas / Family-Friendly Farm
Bufland Agri is your trusted partner in commercial farming South Africa, nestled in the heart of Limpopo Province on the historic Buffelsfontein farm. Just 22km northwest of Mookgophong (formerly Naboomspruit), our family-friendly farm combines generations of expertise with modern sustainable practices to deliver high-quality produce and livestock. Whether you’re a buyer seeking fresh stone fruit, a farmer looking for superior Bonsmara genetics, or an investor exploring agribusiness opportunities, we’re here to support your needs.
Established as a company in 2006 but rooted in farming traditions dating back to the 1950s, Bufland Agri embodies resilience and innovation. Our founder, Lukas Eksteen Snr, pioneered mechanical groundnut drying techniques inspired by American methods – a first in South Africa. He also was one of the first farmers in the Waterberg to use irrigation. Today, under the third generation of family leadership, we focus on efficient, eco-friendly operations that prioritize quality over quantity.
